Chelsea
Chelsea College of Art is another branch of UAL, located opposite the Tate Britain. The uni is in a great area; it's well connected to the rest of London, and close to the Thames and central. While visiting, we got the chance to see both the Fine Art and Design degree shows. Personally, I didn't find the Fine Art show very exciting, but the Graphics show was impressive. Some of the Fine Art pieces were visually impressive due to the Student's technical ability, yet I struggled to find a deeper concept in some of them. The graphics show was more successful in my opinion, the technical skill and interactivity engaged with the audience. While the shows were overall positive, the university didn't feel like the right place for me. The location and certain facilities are good aspects of Chelsea, but the atmosphere didn't feel very motivational.
